Mini-Bio of The Band

The talent behind Divided Highway owes its roots to Algonquin College, when in the spring of 1998 a handful of college employees were asked to provide live music at its 30th anniversary celebration. Surfing on the tremendous success and momentum sparked by this event, the group dedicated themselves to forming a true band, one that has grown better with each passing year!

Now more than 20 years down the road and truly an established band, Divided Highway credits its continuing success to tight deliveries of well-known tunes, while always maintaining respectful, professional attitudes, on- and off-stage.

We are (left to right):

	David Bray - Vocals, Acoustic & Electric Guitars
	Dave Tempeny - Vocals, Bass, Guitar, Harmonica, Mandolin
	Jim Pottage - Drums, Percussion

Divided Highway remains proud to represent at Algonquin events but you're more likely to see us performing at various pubs and bars throughout the National Capital Region. And if you don't catch us at our regular haunts like some Barley Mow or Royal Oak location, you can just as easily find us providing the musical entertainment for Weddings, Christmas and Anniversary parties, Corporate functions, numerous theme related private parties or countless charitable and fund raising events!
